What Not To Miss in New Hampshire

There are so many great things to do in New Hampshire while on a visit. It will be hard to keep it to a Top 10 list but I am going to try!


Driving through the Kancamagus highway you are sure to see signs that will bring you to all kinds of places that you have to stop in and see. The Kancamagus Highway is something to see and drive! You cannot miss it!


You will drive through The White Mountain National Forest, New Hampshire's foliage during the fall is spectacular here. There are many falls and rivers along the way. My family has driven this highway for over 25 years. You can see moose if you are really lucky. There are so many hikes you can do in New Hampshire, it is hard to pick just one. Mount Monadnock brings over a hundred thousand people every year to climb you can come and join them!


Do you want to see moose? Drive down "Moose Alley"you will find it along route 3 in Pittsburg and stop and see all the moose you want to see. Follow this route to the Canadian boarder.Please drive carefully as there are lots of collisions with these beautiful animals, don't be one of them.


Did someone say covered bridge? There are covered bridges to walk through and see in New Hampshire! Great photo opportunity and lots of fun.


The first railway to climb a mountain, see the Mount Washington Cog Railway built in 1869.


Do you like to have a serene afternoon , go for a swim and a kayak ride at Pawtuckaway State Park.


Stop into Clark's Trading Post and see the bears. Watch the trainer put on a show with the Black bears!



Canobie Lake Park- this is a fabulous amusement park with over 85 rides and games to play. Entertainment and Fire Works on Saturday Nights in the summer months. Seasonal



Take a ride on the Conway Scenic Railroad.


Visit the Robert Frost House in Derry New Hampshire.


Visit America's Stonehenge in Salem New Hampshire.


An amazing place to visit with caves and passages. Climb up and in and glide past areas that are close and you think you won't make it through. Wear sneakers as sometimes its slippery when wet.


Franconia Notch State park nestled in the heart of The White Mountain National Forest, Franconia Notch extends from the Flume Gorge and ends down by the Echo Lake. Spectacular scenery . Castle In The Clouds a 16 room mansion and 5500-acre estate. Is has lakes and horses to ride, this is a seasonal admission attraction.






Learn all about space exploration at the McAuliffe-Shepard Discovery Center. Take the little one and let them learn all about space. Learn about the first teacher who was going into space.



Santa's Village- fun for the whole family! Jefferson New Hampshire has this great family amusement park. A Christmas Theme Park! Included with admission to this park is a list of things: Free parking, Free stroller use,Rides,shows and attractions, Free ring from the blacksmith,Free Elfabet Game and prize, and Free Pet Kennel use!


Story Land a land where story book fantasies come to life, a family theme park where the youngest of family members will love to visit and see the attractions.
